Munich Viktualienmarkt
Viktualien is "victuals" in English language and means food and drinking.
The Viktualienmarkt is a popular market located next to the Marienplatz in downtown Munich. Besides food there are also terraces, a beer garten and it hosts a number of traditional and folkloric events. Unfortunately when we visited the place in August 2010, it was raining and cold, so there was not much to do.
